WOW! An almost 4GB Battlefield 3 download this morning? Is it a reality? Is Karkand and Sharqi back? Will I actually get into this game after being my least favorite Battlefield game so far? I guess I need to wait for it to finish to see if it’s actually activated. Glad I have a 4 day weekend! w00t!  Sorry but as much as I was excited, beyond excited, I’ve been disappointed with the game play.  The graphics are beautiful and beyond any game I’ve played but it’s felt like a BF/CoD hybrid so far, at least to me.  I’m almost sure that’s what they’re looking for after CoD sold, what, 7.75 million copies in 5 days and Black Ops over 6 million?  I also think Medal of Honor was an attempt and they merged some of that game play with Battlefield 3.  I’m a hardcore Battlefield fanboy and it’s just not met my expectations.

Don’t get me wrong.  It’s not like I was elite and became bad, I have never been great with KDR but I’ve always been good tactically and it seems BF3 has killed that edge as well.  So I’m hoping for a new beginning…
